Harlequins are a new Rare Breed, given full breed recognition in late 2007. There are less than 100 full Harlequins registered in the United States today. This breed is a revitatilized breed of ole that became extinct due to poor breeding. The breed now has been redeveloped and they are an extremely healthy breed, fun to own, entertain, eager to please and just great all around dogs. These dogs are wonderful pets. They are also one of the few breeds today that a breeder can breed that actually will keep them in the black.
