About the English Bulldog
The English Bulldog, also known as the British Bulldog, is a medium-sized breed with a distinctive appearance. These beefy dogs have large heads, thick folds of skin around their face and shoulders, and a relatively flat face with a protruding lower jaw. Originally bred for bull-baiting, today’s Bulldogs are gentle, affectionate, and excellent companions. Despite their gloomy mug, they’re amiable and easygoing, spending much of the day snoring on the sofa. While not overly vocal, their blocky build and rolling gait give intruders pause. Although stubborn, they respond well to patient training and are usually peaceful with other pets. Learn more
