About the Miniature Schnauzer
Miniature Schnauzers are hardy, merry little dogs that originated in Germany during the late 19th century. Descendants of Affenpinschers and Standard Schnauzers, they’re known for their distinctive “salt and pepper” coat color, which sets them apart from other terrier breeds. Interestingly, they’re the only Schnauzer breed not classified as a working dog by the American Kennel Club. Plus, their low-shedding coat makes them a great choice for allergy sufferers. Learn more
